The United States Department of Labor (“DOL”) issued guidance regarding the Families First Coronavirus Response Act (“FFCRA”). Below are some highlights from the Guidance issued by the DOL: Although no date has been set for regulations, the DOL stated that it expected them to be issued in “April 2020.” The regulations will address, among other things, whether employers with fewer than 50 employees are exempted from the FFCRA’s leave requirements.
